Do You Have Hyperthyroidism Symptoms?
Hyperthyroidism is characterized by hypermetabolism and elevated blood levels of free thyroid hormones
T3 and/or T4.
If the thyroid gland is overactive it secretes too much thyroid
hormone. In this case, more of a good thing is definitely not better. Get your thyroid blood test and consult
with your doctor if you have the following symptoms.
Please Note: The following list is not a complete list of hyperthyroid
symptoms.
Hyperthyroidism Symptoms Include:
-
Fast heart beat
-
Fatigue
-
Weight loss
-
Nervousness
-
Shaking
-
Hyperactivity or restlessness
-
Increased sweating
-
Heat hypersensitivity
-
Increased appetite
-
Insomnia (not able to sleep)
-
Weakness
-
Frequent bowel movements (occasionally diarrhea)
-
Warm, moist skin
-
Light menstrual period
-
Depression or dementia
-
Ophthalmopathy (eye irritation, pain swelling, double vision and forward protrusion of the
eyes)
Other health issues besides hyperthyroidism may also be a cause of these symptoms. Be on the safe side. Check with
your doctor.
Hyperthyroidism may result from increased synthesis and secretion of thyroid hormones (thyroxine T4 and
triiodothyronine T3) from the thyroid, caused by thyroid stimulators in the blood or by autonomous thyroid
hyperfunction.
Various clinical syndromes also produce hyperthyroidism. Even taking too much My Natural Thyroid may cause
hyperthyroidism.
Hyperthyroidism may cause atrial fibrillation, reduced bone mineral density and increased
fractures.
Hyperthyroidism is an independent risk factor for all-cause
and cardiovascular death.
I repeat: Get your thyroid blood test and consult with your doctor if you have
the above symptoms.
